Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. This page lists every cookie helpdash.io uses, what it does, and how to control it. Helpdash uses first-party cookies only — no third-party trackers, no cross-site cookies, no advertising pixels.
1. How consent works
On your first visit, a consent banner lets you accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies. Non-essential categories stay off until you opt in. You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie settings" control in the footer of every page — your choice is stored locally on this device and is not shared with any third party.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary — Always on
Required for the site to function (auth, security, GDPR consent state itself).
Analytics
Page-view counts and aggregated session metrics. First-party only — no third-party trackers.
Functional
Remembers your last workspace slug for the dashboard shortcut, theme preference, locale choice.
Marketing
Disabled by default. Helpdash does not run advertising pixels; this stays off.
No cookies are stored in this category.
3. Checkout cookies (Paddle)
Subscriptions are sold through our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. If you open the checkout, Paddle sets the cookies strictly necessary to process your payment securely (for example, fraud prevention and session integrity). These are governed by the Paddle privacy policy.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site (for example, your consent choice itself can't be remembered).
5. More information
How we handle personal data generally is covered in our privacy policy. Questions: privacy@helpdash.io.
