Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. This page lists every cookie helpdash.io uses, what it does, and how to control it. Helpdash uses first-party cookies only — no third-party trackers, no cross-site cookies, no advertising pixels.

1. How consent works

On your first visit a banner asks two questions: whether to allow analytics, and whether to allow the live chat. Choosing “Only what’s necessary” means nothing optional is loaded or stored. Opening the chat yourself counts as allowing it, because it is the thing the cookie enables. You can change your mind at any time through the “Cookie settings” control in the footer of every page — your choice is stored on this device and is not shared with anyone.

Analytics here is Google Analytics 4, read in aggregate to see which pages people actually use. Nothing is loaded until you say yes, and saying no means the site makes no request to Google at all. There is no advertising category, because this site sets no advertising cookies.

2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary — Always on

Stored so the site can remember a decision you made. There is nothing to switch off here: without these the site would have to ask you the same question on every page.

Analytics

Set only if you allow analytics. Google Analytics 4 counts visits and shows which pages are read, in aggregate. Your IP address is truncated before it is stored, and nothing is loaded until you choose.

Live chat

Set only if you allow the live chat, or open it yourself. It identifies your side of the conversation so a reply reaches you and the thread survives a page change. Nothing loads and nothing is stored until you choose.

Not used on this site

For the avoidance of doubt, this site sets no cookies in these categories: advertising and marketing. There are no third-party trackers, no cross-site cookies and no advertising pixels.

3. Checkout cookies (Paddle)

Subscriptions are sold through our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. If you open the checkout, Paddle sets the cookies strictly necessary to process your payment securely (for example, fraud prevention and session integrity). These are governed by the Paddle privacy policy.

4. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site (for example, your consent choice itself can’t be remembered).
